April Showers Bring May Flowers

While there may be some truth to the saying “April showers bring May flowers” and one can’t deny the benefit of rain, I am currently quite upset listening to the raindrops outside my window right now. This is Northern California, and I expect it to be hot and sunny outside and NOT a gray overcast day with rain in the middle of May. As the lyrics of one of my favorite songs as sung by Tina Turner goes “I can’t stand the rain, against my window pane. . .” – play video above if you haven’t already!  Haven’t I suffered enough since Tax Day…
